"Slippy"

I can feel my dreams of moving to Europe slipping slowly away. I'm dying to get over there and I thought school would be the best way for me to get there. But it seems I've screwed myself in the end. By going to MCTC, I am going for my A.A. degree and securing credits that are designed to transfer directly to the University of MN. That's cool, except that I've been telling people for the past two years that I DO NOT want to go to the U of MN. It's not that it's a bad school, definitely not, but I just dont' want to stay in Minnesota, in the midwest...in the US. But now I'm stuck. It'd be hard to get into a good psych school overseas and if I transfer elsewhere in the US (which is what I'd like to do) I'd have out of state fees again.

Blah.

On another note, I got to see the Science of Sleep for free at the Uptown Theatre...nice.

So... what next?

You have a lot of time left in your life and a couple of years at the U of M is very little if it helps you accomplish your dreams of moving over seas.

And the U's study abroad program will allow you to spend time overseas in the meantime. Have you checked in on their info yet?

This program has a psychology program in English in Milan or Rome.

Another is for those having taken 2+ years of college Italian...

but there is a lot more. Contact an advisor at the U.
