Just Because I Thought it was Funny

The other night, a man (probably in mid-40's) who goes by the name "Captain Tony" came over to the house to visit. Emily has been friends with him for five years; he lives in Dinky Town with his dog, Fifty. I guess you can't really call him homeless, but he doesn't really have a home. I'm wanting to think that he lives in a camper? Anyways, so he just came back from Wisconsin (where he was working with his brother) and is back to live in Dinky Town, but it turns out that he hadn't "set up camp" yet. It's around midnight and I'm in my room doing homework, when I walk out and find out that Emily has invited him to stay the night. Immediately I just feel really anxious. It's not that I don't trust the guy exactly; I've met him before and he's always been really nice, but he just drinks all the time and it seems like someone in his position who doesn't have a lot might make some rash and bad decisions. To make it worse, I then find out that Emily was going to stay at Matt's place so I was to be alone with the "Captain" in my house. Uhhh...he's a grown man and I'm just a petite girl. Get why I was nervous?

Luckily, I had an escape route: Joe's place. I got to his place a little before one and we watched some Family Guy and a couple other shows that weren't too impressive, namely the MTV2 one with the puppets. As Joe headed to bed, I curled up on the couch with Coonie. In the morning I woke up to find all three of Joe's roommate's cats staring at me with wide, hungry eyes; one on the table, one on a chair, and the other on the floor. As I walked into the kitchen to eat Joe's beloved cereal, they followed me and begged me for food, but as I could not find it, I made my apologies and ate in front of them.

Thank you Joe!
