I'll Spend The Money

The other day Tony and I headed to Cheapo to look at cds. He had just recently seen "Walk the Line" and was itching for some Johnny Cash cds. As I always do when I go to Cheapo, I first searched for Buffalo Daughter and ended up getting a remix cd of theirs. As I looked for more music, I decided to treat myself and also got Simian's Chemistry is what we Are, and I also bought the new Spoon album. Yeah, I just spent $50 on music, but oh well. I haven't bought any cds in such a long time so I don't feel too bad about my spendings.

Blah, what else going on? Work as usual, which is noting too big to talk about. I was working full time but now my hours are being cut, as are everyone else's hours since the holidays are over. Now I just have to beg my "superiors" for mo' hours. I must say that I really enjoy working at Target now. It's not really the actual job that I have that I enjoy, but I really like the people I work with. When I first started I was really shy, but now I've worked there for so long and have outlasted many others, I feel confident about talking and joking around with people. Though...I still haven't really hung out with anyone from work.

I've started writing again. Not that I ever stopped, but I've been writing more than usual. That's always a good thing.

Went to a party the other night in Uptown. You can see pictures here. Very fun, intense, and very emotional party...I will say no more.

Hmm...I got asked out the other day at Target. His name is Alex and I think he's 25..26? He was in my creative writing class and he heads the Psych club at MCTC. He came through my lane the 2nd time in about a week and asked, "Would you like to go out sometime?" God, I hate this shit. I always get asked out by people who I don't want to go out with. He handed me his name and number etched on paper, which he had written prior and was ready to hand out.

Life...school starts in a few days. I'm only taking 2 classes. Yay for laziness and for full time.
