Coming up, Coming up, Coming up up up!

So I’ll be up in St. Paul quite soon and let me tell you, I’m quite looking forward to it. I always love being up in that city. I remember this past summer I was having a hard time figuring out if I wanted to go to U of IA or to U of MN. While up in St. Paul last August shopping for a dress, I just felt this longing for the city and I felt that I just had to live there. And then I realized that I probably wouldn’t live there unless I was going to college there. My mind had been made up. Besides, I just had this underlying feeling that if I were to go to Iowa, I’d be missing out on so much that I’d experience, see, and feel in St. Paul. Hopefully my underlying feelings prove true. It’s weird, just the thought that I’ll be living up there in four months or so. I mean, I always knew I’d be moving up there, but it didn’t really hit me until last night. I’m quitting my job at the Story County Hospital and was writing my Two Weeks Notice last night. I was staying my reason for quitting and put: “I’m graduating and will be moving to Minnesota.” Right then I just thought, “Wow, I’m actually moving to a different state and there will be this new place that I will call my home.” It’s just strange and it doesn’t actually feel like it’s happening. It seems that before my future was pretty clear, but now I just can’t see anything. It’s just that everything is so open and new and I just don’t know what to expect. But hopefully that’s a good thing.
